Link Roundup, Vol. 1 Issue 2

I hope everyone is having a good holiday weekend! We had a few dinners with out of town family and a fridge full of leftovers. I am ambivalent about the origins of Thanksgiving but I do love people getting together in a way that they don’t usually. Cousins from Odessa, sister and brother-in-law from San Antonio, working together to prepare a ridiculously awesome meal.

Must lead with how heavy my heart is with this news. I agree 100% with this article (except, of course, that I’m not a doctor like the author is).

I saw some photos on social media, and a few disparaging remarks about this party in the Bronx. Of a piece with these protests in Brooklyn.

Infatuated with the idea of fixing up this ol’ beauty in small-town Texas.

Remember when I did a studio visit with JooYoung Choi? Good, she is one of the winners of the 2015 Artadia awards!

I really agree with the idea of this company’s vacation policy.

Ulay vs. Marina.

Worth a trip to Oklahoma City next year for some Pompidou love.

Women, do you realize how often you do this?

Amy Sedaris strikes again.

I’ve long admired this artist and followed his Instagram for a few years but this is the first time I’ve seen him full-on. Weirdly chagrinned at how handsome he is.
